Swanage Drama Company

We are very pleased and excited that Swanage Drama Company have been nominated for 'Best Small Pantomime' for our 2024 production of 'Cinderella' at the South West Noda awards 2025! Thank you NODA for the nomination, well done and good luck to all the other nominee's, we're looking forward to the awards ceremony!

It's a very busy time for us at Swanage Drama Company as we get ready for not one, but two performances! 

Back in November, we held our annual 'Evening of Entertainment' to raise money for charity and we announced that the money raised would be split between Dementia Friendly Purbeck and Children in Need. We can now reveal that we raised £1210 to be split between them so thank you to everyone who came to the show and helped us raise this amazing amount of money!

Tickets for our pantomime 'Jack and the Beanstalk' are going quickly! The circle is now open for our performances on Saturday 11th at 2pm, Saturday 18th at 2pm and Saturday 18th at 7.30pm! If you haven't got your tickets yet, then make sure you head to The Mowlem Theatre to get yours but you'd best be quick, tickets are selling fast! 

On Saturday 14th December, some of the 'Jack and the Beanstalk' cast had a lovely day out and about in Swanage! To start the day we went to The Village Inn in Ulwell to have breakfast. We got to do some colouring with some new friends, take some photographs and sign some autographs. We even sung happy birthday to one of the dads! It was lovely finding out what everyone had been up to. From riding The Polar Express to some cheeky elf shenanigans! We even had our pictures drawn which was fantastic! 

Come along to our evening of entertainment on Saturday 9th November and help us raise as much money as we can for Dementia Friendly Purbeck and for Children in Need. It's a night filled with entertainment from songs to comedy, from familiar faces to new, including some special guests and surprising and new acts!
