It's a very busy time for us at Swanage Drama Company as we get ready for not one, but two performances!
First up is 'A Night At The Mowlem' on Saturday 24th May. For one performance only, not only will Swanage Drama Company be performing different acts, but we will also be joined on stage by Swanage Musical Theatre Company, The Swanage School and The Ranger School of Dance, plus there may be some special guest acts! The night will be filled with acts, dance and songs and is going to be an amazing evening, and it's all to raise money towards upgrading The Mowlem's microphones. There's also going to be a raffle on the night so make sure to bring some spare change with you!
Secondly, we have just started rehearsals for our farce 'Caught in the Net' by Ray Cooney which we are performing on the 12th, 13th and 14th June. This is a sequel to 'Run For Your Wife' which we performed back in 2009 but you don't need to have seen the first show to enjoy this one! It's going to be a challenge for our cast and when you' come to watch you'll see why! It's a small cast but we have some familiar faces, some new faces and some returning faces which is amazing. Rehearsals are already proving to be hilarious so we're sure you're going to love it too!
